FLAG-tag → Anti-FLAG (Affinity Purification)
Comprehensive reference for FLAG-tag → Anti-FLAG (Affinity Purification), a peptide compound with applications in research and therapeutics.
Overview
FLAG-tag → Anti-FLAG (Affinity Purification) is a bioactive peptide with well-characterized properties and therapeutic applications.
Mechanism of Action
FLAG peptide (Asp-Tyr-Lys-Asp-Asp-Asp-Asp-Lys) recognized by anti-FLAG monoclonal antibodies through complementary determining regions. M1 antibody requires Ca²⁺ for binding (binds N-terminal Asp-Tyr). M2 antibody recognizes internal epitope (Ca²⁺-independent). Elution with FLAG peptide (100-200 μg/mL) or EDTA (M1).
