Overview
Peptide → BCR (Immune Recognition) is a bioactive peptide with well-characterized properties and therapeutic applications.
Mechanism of Action
BCR binds native (unprocessed) antigens through surface-exposed epitopes (conformational or linear). Binding triggers BCR cross-linking → ITAM phosphorylation by Lyn → Syk activation → B cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation to antibody-secreting plasma cells. Affinity maturation in germinal centers improves binding.
